Well, between the events this festive season, we'd like to thank the organisers and those who attended.
SVTT Chair, Sam would like to say: "a big thank you to all the organisers at the Friends of Peel Park and everyone that came to the Peel Park Victorian Christmas on Sunday.
Thanks to Barrie Jones (pictured below) and Pauline Clarke for their sterling work in freezing conditions. It was still fun.
And thank you for all the donations to our fighting fund. Brenda Booth Kenny's Christmas Cards were very popular and the kids enjoyed the badge making. It was a really fun day, with the kids doing a preview of the Wizard of Oz show they'll be doing at Party on the Park next Saturday the 14th with the Friends of Green Grosvenor Park.
There were bands and Father Christmas of course, Barrie Jones cornered him at one point, and lots of things for the kids to make.
Thanks to Gemma, Rose and Fiona and Walk the Plank for the Lantern making, we'll see the finished Victorian Lanterns that they started to make yesterday at Party on the Park. And we'll be there too with our stall as usual and we'll be the helping hang the Lanterns. Looking forward to the Party!
